Virtual pen and ink. Just sketching to music, playing with brushes and "washes" of colour, no real aim in mind, not really paying attention to proportions or structure, just going with the flow.

Just a quick sketch, experimenting with colour a little.

A quick sketch that turned into an overly-laboured Painter experiment. Not happy with the lighting, colour, inconsistent visual perspective, composition, rendering of the architecture… but it's just a sketch, no big deal. It's a cityscape I keep returning to, so my hope is that posting this will motivate me to put up a better attempt.
